    An updated 4-H Dairy Managerial Project Agreement form for the 2003 Wisconsin Junior State Fair is now available. The form spells out the responsibilities of those involved in the lease and manages the liability issues related to the agreement.

    Wisconsin Teams Compete At National 4-H Dairy Bowls

    Young dairy experts from Door and Wood counties recently represented Wisconsin at two national dairy bowl competitions. The two teams earned the right to represent Wisconsin by placing at the top of the Wisconsin 4-H Dairy Bowl Contest, held last January.

    Nationwide Johne’s Disease Survey Reaching Halfway Point

    Researchers at the University of Wisconsin-Madison are approaching the halfway mark in a nationwide survey of dairy producers that’s part of an effort to prevent Johne’s disease. Cooperating dairy producers will get free confidential testing of their cows, and they’ll be helping to reduce the impact of a disease that costs the U.S. dairy industry hundreds of millions of dollars every year.

    Door County 4-H Team Wins National 4-H Dairy Cattle Judging Contest

    The Wisconsin 4-H team took first place at the 81st annual national dairy cattle judging contest, held Tuesday, Oct. 1 at World Dairy Expo in Madison.
