    University of Wisconsin-Madison judging teams took first and fourth place at the Southern Intercollegiate Dairy Cattle Judging Contest, Sept. 30 at Memphis, Tenn. A team of Badger seniors placed third at the National Collegiate Dairy Cattle Judging Contest at World Dairy Expo in Madison.

    Changing A Super-Sweet Protein Slightly Can Enhance Its Sweetness

    By altering the building blocks of brazzein, a natural protein far sweeter than sugar, University of Wisconsin-Madison scientists found a couple of changes that actually made it sweeter.
