Several CALS students were named Distinguished Junior Members at the Wisconsin Holstein Association”s Junior Holstein Convention. They were:

Angie Brey, Sturgeon Bay; Matt Dorshorst, Junction City; Nathan Dorshorst, Junction City; Amy Hagenow, Reedsville; Brian Kelroy, Fond du Lac; Jill Makovec, Muscoda; Larry Nelson, Ettrick; Rae Dawn Rippchen, Richland Center; and Ronda Rippchen, Richland Center.

The WHA convention was held in early January at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville.
