Blue Sky Science: Why can people eat the same diet and have different outcomes?

Why can people eat the same diet or take the same medicine and have different outcomes? In this episode of Blue Sky Science, Danielle Lohman, a graduate student in biochemistry at UW-Madison, answers that question posed by Suzanne Shain, a UW-Madison alumna.
Blue Sky Science is a collaboration of the Wisconsin State Journal and the Morgridge Institute for Research. Scientific questions are posed by visitors to Science Saturdays, a monthly series at the Discovery Building that features interactive exploration stations centered around a particular topic. The Blue Sky Science team then sets out to find an expert to answer the questions.
