Biofuels in the Yahara Watershed

This video from the UW-Madison’s Water Sustainability and Climate project for the Lakeshore Nature Preserve features Chris Kucharik, associate professor of agronomy. The video is part of The Water Walk series, a tour of Wisconsin’s Yahara Watershed. The series explains how people who live, work and play in the watershed impact drinking water, lakes and streams.

In this installment of the series, Kucharik talks about new research into biofuels and describes how growing cellulosic biofuels in the Yahara Watershed could affect the environment. Check out the other videos in the series here: http://lakeshorepreserve.wisc.edu/media/water_walk_videos.htm.
