High school juniors and seniors (and their parents) who are curious about the educational opportunities at the University of Wisconsin-Madison”s College of Agricultural and Life Sciences are invited to spend an afternoon on campus. The College is “Rolling Out the Red” Oct. 20, Oct. 26 and Oct. 27, and one Friday a month from November to July 2001.
Following check-in, a college overview and welcome session will begin the 1 p.m. program. This will be followed by career and internship opportunities, admissions, and housing information.
Prospective students will have an opportunity to meet with faculty advisors to discuss at least two of the College”s 25 majors. Visitors will take a walking tour of the lakeshore campus and a residence hall, guided by a student ambassador. Prospective students” parents can attend a session on financial aid and scholarships.
