Parents And Students Can Preview UW Farm Short Course December 7 or 8

High school students and their parents are invited to the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences at the University of Wisconsin-Madison to find out if they might like to attend the Farm and Industry Short Course.

From 9 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 7 and Wednesday, Dec. 8, juniors, seniors and their parents can tour the campus, attend classes, and meet Short Course faculty, alumni and current students. Those attending this preview will hear about the many scholarship opportunities in the Short Course, and about the kinds of careers open to graduates.

Short Course is a one- or two-year program that runs from November to mid-March. It is open to high school graduates interested in farming or in one of the many agricultural industries in Wisconsin.

There is no cost for attending preview days, but space limitations require advanced registration. The deadline for registration is Friday, Nov. 26.
