Parents And Students Can Preview UW Farm Short Course February 21st or 22nd.

High school juniors and seniors, their parents, and other prospective students are invited to visit the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and see if the Farm and Industry Short Course will meet their needs.

From 9 a.m. to 2:10 p.m. on either Wednesday, Feb. 21 or Thursday, Feb. 22, visitors can tour the campus and visit several classes. A current student, a housefellow and an alumnus will give their perspectives of Short Course. Assistant Dean Richard Daluge will be on hand to welcome visitors and answer questions. Visitors will tour the Short Course Dormitories, and learn about the many scholarship opportunities in Short Course and the types of careers available to graduates.

Short Course is a one- or two-year program that runs from November to April. It is open to high school graduates interested in farming or one of the many agricultural industries in Wisconsin. Average full-time enrollment in the program is 135 students.
