UW–Madison CALS invites nominations for 2026 Honorary Recognition, Distinguished Service, Distinguished Alumni and Distinguished Recent Graduate awards
Nominations are now open for the 2026 UW–Madison College of Agricultural and Life Sciences Honorary Recognition Award, Distinguished Service Award, Distinguished Alumni Award and Distinguished Recent Graduate Award.
Each year, Dean Glenda Gillaspy and the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences recognizes individuals who have demonstrated outstanding and inspirational leadership, integrity and unselfish service, and who are making significant contributions in the areas of agriculture, life sciences, natural resources and social science. These are some of the highest honors awarded by the college.
Information about each award and nomination forms are available at cals.wisc.edu/honorary. Nominations are due April 6, 2026.
An individual may be considered for only one award during a given year, so nominators should select the most appropriate award for their candidate. Please note that nominations remain valid for three years.
CALS is committed to providing opportunities to all and we encourage nominations of people of all backgrounds.
The 2026 Honorary Recognition Awards Ceremony will be held Thursday, Oct. 29, in Tripp Commons at Memorial Union. The ceremony will begin at 4:30 p.m.
