Why do chickens lay different-colored eggs? In this episode of Blue Sky Science, Ron Kean, a faculty associate in animal sciences, answers that question posed by Rafael Garcia-Dove.

Blue Sky Science was a collaboration of the Wisconsin State Journal and the Morgridge Institute for Research. Scientific questions were posed by visitors to the Discovery Building, and the Blue Sky Science team then set out to find an expert to answer the questions.
