Ed Jesse

Ed Jesse, an emeritus professor in the UW-Madison Department of Agricultural and Applied Economics, is an expert in dairy marketing and policy.

Jesse helps write and edit the Status of Wisconsin Agriculture Report, an annual situation and outlook report that has been published each January since 1986 (except for a three-year hiatus in the late 1990s). The 2014 report will be available later this month, with a first look shared at the Wisconsin Agricultural Economics Outlook Forum on Jan. 22.

For a sneak peak at some of the items that will be covered in the report and at the forum, listen to this podCALS episode. In it, Jesse recaps 2013 Wisconsin farm income and discusses the numbers to be expected for 2014.
