U.S. Assistant Secretary of Commerce to visit the Wisconsin Center for Dairy Research

On Thursday, October 25, U.S. Assistant Secretary of Commerce Matt Erskine and his staff will be visiting the Wisconsin Center for Dairy Research (CDR) for a tour and round table discussion regarding the Center’s recent i6 Challenge grant award.

CDR i6 Challenge grant partners will also be in attendance, including Wisconsin Secretary of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection Ben Brancel and Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation staff. Participants will participate in a round table discussion beginning at 9:30 a.m. followed by a tour of CDR, which will include several hands-on projects such as cheesemaking and taste-testing between 11:00 a.m. and noon.

Media are welcome to attend this event. The CDR is located at 1605 Linden Drive on the UW-Madison campus.
