Amy Radunz is new Extension beef cattle specialist

A new beef cattle extension specialist has joined the faculty of the University of Wisconsin-Madison Department of Animal Sciences.

Amy Radunz comes to Wisconsin from The Ohio State University, where she served as an extension specialist in livestock youth programs and meat science while earning a Ph.D. in ruminant nutrition and meat science.

Prior to that she was an animal science instructor and manager of the research feedlot at Washington State University. She was raised on farm near Hutchinson, Minnesota and earned her B.S. and M.S. degrees from North Dakota State University.
