Public nominations for the 2008 College of Agricultural and Life Sciences Honorary Recognition Award are due April 18, 2008. The award honors individuals who have provided leadership and inspiration in endeavors related to agriculture, natural resources and the life sciences in Wisconsin. It is the college”s highest honor.

Since 1909, the college has recognized nearly 450 individuals who have given unselfishly of time and talent, improved the lives of many, and enriched their communities and society. The nominee may be an individual, partnership, or group of two or three individuals; corporations are not eligible.

Awards are presented October 23, 2008 in the Great Hall, Memorial Union, UW-Madison at the CALS Honorary Recognition Banquet. The banquet is an opportunity to celebrate connections between the College and its friends, supporters and stakeholders.
