Best Educational Exhibits Selected At 2002 Wisconsin Junior State Fair Dairy Division
County dairy exhibitors at last week”s Wisconsin Junior State Fair Dairy Show incorporated educational displays to inform urban consumers about the dairy industry. The educational displays were part of each county”s dairy cattle exhibit at the fair. “The American Farmer, Feeding the World” and “Celebrating the 4-H Centennial” were suggested themes for this year”s show.
These educational displays were considered by a panel of judges, who selected four champion displays to receive purple ribbons: Calumet, Juneau, Richland, and Sauk counties. Receiving blue ribbon recognition were Brown, Dodge, Door, Green, Polk, and Winnebago counties. Each of the winners received $50 for their strong efforts.
