Help the University of Wisconsin-Madison support local farmers while you enjoy a delicious dinner on campus! The UW-Madison’s Residence Halls Dining Service will serve two organic and sustainable dinners in early April. Many of the menu items will come from Wisconsin family farms. Both students and the public are welcome to participate in these meals.
The first dinner will be held at Chadbourne Dining Hall and Pop”s Club Wednesday, April 3. The second is scheduled for Wednesday, April 10 at Frank”s Place and Elizabeth Waters Dining Hall. The meals will be served from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The dinners will cost $5 to $7 for the public and $3 to $5 for UW-Housing residents.
The menu will feature organic beef tenderloin, turkey breast, hamburgers, pasta with marinara or Italian meat sauce, red potato wedges, basmati brown rice, fresh salad, blueberry cheesecake, cream puffs and more. Organic Valley Family of Farms, North Farm Cooperative and Igl Farms will supply food for the meals.
