The freeze on freshman admissions to the University of Wisconsin system does not affect admissions to the Farm and Industry Short Course at the UW-Madison College of Agricultural and Life Sciences, according to Short Course director Rick Daluge.
Short Course is a one- or two-year program open to high school graduates interested in farming or one of Wisconsin”s many other agricultural industries. UW-Madison professors teach about 40 subjects as part of Short Course. The program, which runs from November to April, has an average enrollment of 135 students. Students from seven states and four foreign countries attended last year”s Short Course.
