The interim Short Course “Managing Hispanic Employees in your Dairy” will meet for four days, Monday Jan. 14 to Thursday, Jan. 17, 2002. The new registration deadline is Jan. 8, 2002. (The course was originally scheduled for five days.)
The course will cover some basic Spanish needed to manage Hispanic dairy employees, as well as recruiting, managing and leading employees. Classes will also cover team building, conflict management, and assessing performance. In addition to the four-day course, the fee includes three follow-up coaching sessions via telephone of one hour each for the three months following the course.
The course will be held on the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus. The class is limited to 20 participants. Instructor: Jorge Estrada. Fee: $500.
