A new publication series will document the economic, environmental and societal benefits offered by Land Information and Geographic Information Systems technology. The Land Information Bulletin is published by the Land Information & Computer Graphics Facility at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

The first issue highlights the benefits generated by the modernization of the Dane County Register of Deeds office. The title-recording process has gone digital, allowing faster document processing, reducing document storage space, increasing staff efficiency, and improving public access to property records.
