Class Under Glass: An Award-Winning Place To Learn About Plants
The new instructional greenhouse at the University of Wisconsin-Madison has received an Honor Award from the Wisconsin Chapter of the American Institute of Architects. The D. C. Smith Instructional Greenhouse has now garnered four awards in five months.

1998 State FFA Agri-Science/Natural Resources Career Development Event
Students from 170 Wisconsin schools participated in the State FFA Agri-Science/Natural Resources Career Development Event on April 24 at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Almost 700 three-person teams participated in 14 contest divisions.
